Education is a calling for many teachers. But their passion for teaching has never been more questioned due to the pandemic which brought unprecedented disruption to over 100 million of students in APAC. The shift to hybrid learning has taken a drastic toll on their work, emotional, and mental loads. As a result, over 50% of teachers were considering leaving the profession altogether. 

So how did we help rekindle their joy and purpose that has largely been lost?

We partnered with Microsoft to launch EduDay, a Teams live event which brought together teachers, education leaders, IT professionals and key stakeholders from Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines, to discuss and reimagine education in the new normal.

The virtual gathering provided insights to address top-of-mind issues for teachers from increasing student engagement to creating a secure, connected learning environment. The two-day event also equipped teachers with the latest Microsoft tools to successfully pivot and unlock the possibilities of hybrid learning so they can get back to what they love and do best: teach. 

Microsoft EduDay restored a sense of optimism and confidence in educators, to once again, being able to make a difference in their students’ lives. Meanwhile, it further positioned Microsoft as the most trusted and preferred technology partner of choice for education leaders in APAC, furthering the tech brand’s mission to empower every person on the planet to achieve more.
